Overview
System Akvile skincare app has low user engagement and rating due to its complicated interface and lack of interactive features. We need to improve the app's usability and engagement by adding interactive features and simplifying the interface. Additionally, we want to provide users with a personalized skincare program and the ability to analyze their skin's progress. By solving these issues, we aim to increase the app's rating and user engagement.

Process
Extensive user persona research, in-depth user interviews, and meticulous user journey analysis were carried out to inform the design process. Based on carefully crafted hypotheses, a strategic decision was made to enhance the user experience by incorporating personalized presentations, specifically by integrating scans of skin care products. Once users uploaded a photo of their products, a tailored daily routine and skin type were automatically generated for them. Furthermore, micro-interactions enriched with captivating animations were thoughtfully integrated to elevate the overall user engagement.
